A 501c3 entity (status pending), G.O.L.F. (the Global Outreach for Learning Foundation), has been established to raise the necessary funds to help underwrite the establishment of the Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues across the United States.
Funding will take place through grants to National Recreation & Park Association (NRPA) facilities to attain SNAG® (Starting New At Golf) equipment, programming and coaches. These grants will be administered through the NRPA . The goal is to ensure retention and provide a sustainable model for transition to other programs at golf facilities, in order to increase participation for current and future generations.
The Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues will ultimately become a global philanthropic endeavor to bring the sport to emerging golf regions and countries that are embracing the game or have been inspired to introduce golf as part of the game’s return to the Olympic program.
